PTE CORE is a new IRCC-approved English proficiency test for Canadian immigration. PTE Core is a computer-based four-skills test that assesses your everyday English skills.

PTE CORE – PROFICIENCY SCALE

The test evaluates your English proficiency on a scale of 18-90 in each of the four skills. You will need to meet the level stipulated by the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) in all of these skills.
